Minutes: November 7th, 2007

Meeting began: 6:35 p.m. Janet first, Kelly second

Members Present: Viki Mulick , Gwen Steinbach, Pam Turner, Linda Buxton, Jody Kelsay, Paula Hixson, & Doug Thompson

Officers Present:

• President: Janet Peters
• Vice Pres: Kelly Swanson
• Secretary: Melissa Horne
• Treasurer: Christine Knight

Meeting September 12th, 2007 Minutes:

• Looked over minutes – made minor changes, approved made a motion, and accepted.

Unfinished Business:

• All Volunteer hours need to be logged in and emailed to Nadine or Janet
• Rose Garden game –Aloha is waiting on contact

New Business:

• The ASB has selected our club as “Club of the Month” for the month of December. Melissa will decorate the board with apparel.
• Marketing class would like our support – they are trying to create a basketball poster. They would also like us to help buy T-shirts for the “Jam the Gym” on February 8th.
• NAMS Booster Club is also asking for our support and/or suggestions for starting their own club.
• Summerfield Homes would like to know if we are interested in setting up holiday lights again.
• Turf Field – Need to help find more funding and sponsors. This could only help increase our revenue especially if we were able to hold more events.
  

Treasurers Report:

• $19891.17 is the balance in the checking account

Fundraisers – Current:

• Concessions – Paula Hixson has agreed to be the new scheduling coordinator for the winter season. Scheduled for booster reps for the winter season as well. Pam Turner volunteered to be in charge of the softball concessions.
• Apparel- Have a wide variety of apparel and now a stock of inventory.
• Banner Update - $11,000 collected so far
• Program Ads update – Janet is preparing the winter program
• Ink Cartridges – still receiving
• Escrip –send out another mass mailing or email also at other events
• Goodsearch.com – approx. $15 so far
• Alumni Basketball Tourney – Pat Walsh/Melissa/Doug – December 22nd/23rd – Melissa has called and scheduled the event to be on the reader boards around town. Will prepare on the 17th of December. Janet and the News Times provided a registration form that will go out in a mass email mailing as well as advertised in the paper.
  

Meetings:

• Agreed to meet first Wednesday of the month. Next Meeting is December 5th, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. in the Office.
